Some Bowling & Football

November 28th, 2014 For the past several years we have either traveled for or hosted Thanksgiving.  As Thanksgiving approached this year, we realized how long it had been since we had the holiday break without anything on our schedule.  While we missed seeing family and friends, it was kind of nice to have some low key days at home together. While Dad’s Away

November 15th, 2014 Adam had a week long trip over to the Netherlands (Amsterdam and Rotterdam) for work.  Whenever he is out of town, we look for things to do… it helps make the time go quicker.  One of the things we came up with was a trip to the movies to see Big Hero 6.  The boys had been wanting to see this movie since they saw the trailer for it and the timing was perfect.  We had a fun time and it was a great movie! Fall Ball

November 7th, 2014 Caleb played some fall baseball and continued in his love of playing catcher.  When the coach held the very first practice, he told the boys they were not allowed to ask him to play catcher. (He’s done this coaching stuff before, obviously.)  Caleb was deflated.  He wanted so badly to play that position.  It didn’t take but a couple games before the coach told him to put the catching gear on and Caleb was played at catcher every game thereafter.  We will see how far he goes with it, but if his enthusiasm is any indication the sky is the limit.  🙂  We...
