Strange Sightings…

April 17th, 2016 We have had a couple strange sightings in the neighborhood over the past few days and I couldn’t help but grab a few photos. I had to grab this shot for my brother.  He and his boys call ambulances “Whambulances”. So you can imagine our surprise when we pulled around the corner and saw this thing in front of us. We were all cracking up! Driving into the neighborhood after church on Sunday, Adam noticed this guy walking across the road. After we all stopped laughing (he had to be escaping from a crab boil!) the boys got out and scooped him up. This was...

Some Bowling & Football

November 28th, 2014 For the past several years we have either traveled for or hosted Thanksgiving.  As Thanksgiving approached this year, we realized how long it had been since we had the holiday break without anything on our schedule.  While we missed seeing family and friends, it was kind of nice to have some low key days at home together. The Last School Day!

May 16, 2014 Today was our “official” last day.  (Sumner and Jonah have been done for a couple of weeks with everything except Geography as Caleb finished up Math.)  Since we never did a “First Day of School” photo shoot, we did one today. P.S.- I don’t know where they get their humor from.  🙂 Caleb, age 7 Jonah, age 11 Sumner, age 12 (for 2 more weeks!) “Caleb, Smile.” “Jonah- Look at me!” “Umm, Sumner?” Good grief. There is always a comedian. Finally.  Their teacher needs to work on all of this “goofing...

Fishing with Grandma & Grandpa Peterson

April 24th- April 30th We had a great visit with Grandma and Grandpa Peterson this week.  Lots of baseball, laughter, and a little fishing made the time go by all too quickly. Caleb had been counting down the days until their visit ever since they left in early March.  Grandma had given him her calendar to mark the days off until their visit.  Every night before bed, he would mark through the day on his calendar, one day closer to April 24th. We had a great time.  Just wish I would have taken more photos!   Our neighborhood and the surrounding neighborhoods all have man made lakes...
