ExxonMobil Open House

November 7th, 2015 The new ExxonMobil Woodlands Campus held an open house today for all of the employees and their families.  We had been on campus a couple times before to eat lunch with Adam but this open house allowed us to go inside all of the impressive buildings the campus has to offer.  We were in awe of all the cool features! We started the day with a thermal selfie.  Too fun! A “Must See” exhibit for our boys (Adam included) was the Indy Car Simulator. All 4 of them drove and they all passed it with flying colors and no accidents or crashes. Sumner and Adam had the...

The National WWII Museum

Week #38 of 52- September 21st Our original plans for our Saturday with Adam’s parents consisted of watching all 3 boys play their second soccer games of the season.  However, the weather changed all of that and all 3 of the games were cancelled.  The boys were definitely disappointed that Grandma and Grandpa were not going to be able to see them play but we really made the most of our “all of a sudden” free day.  We started the morning off with beignets and then headed down to New Orleans to explore The National WWII Museum.  We have been wanting to visit this museum...

Grandma & Grandpa Peterson’s Visit

Week #38 of 52- September 18th-20th Grandma and Grandpa Peterson came for a long weekend visit with us.  They arrived on Wednesday afternoon and were able to stay until Monday.  We had a great few days with them and look forward to seeing them again soon! Adam and I had heard from several people in Baton Rouge that we had to try Roberto’s. It was definitely a little hole in the wall place but the food was great… especially the Fried Green Tomatoes! While Adam was working on Friday, we headed to the bowling alley. As always, it was a fun time! Strike! He looks like a...
