Christmas with the Petersons

December 27th-30th, 2015 The second half of our time in St Louis was spent with Adam’s family.  This is always a good time with all the cousins.  Our boys love playing games together and , of course, having Nerf Wars against the dads. The kids are getting so big! Amazing to see how this photo has transitioned over the years! The obligatory silly photo. 🙂 Caleb got some more Star Wars Legos. I think his goal is to have the complete set. Sumner and Jonah got new fly rods and reels. Some new fly boxes and flies, tied by their grandpa. These guys are all ready to...

Christmas with the Williams

December 24th- 26th, 2015 We had such a fun time with family in St. Louis.  Our trip started with Kelly’s side. Cory and Valli were heading to Indiana for Christmas, so we met with them first before they left. After an Italian dinner out, we headed to their house for some gifts. We spent Christmas Eve day with the Steckos.  All of these boys love being together. Add in some presents and it’s pretty much the greatest thing ever. That evening, we headed into town for the Christmas Eve service. But this year, we all headed there together, on a bus! After the service was over,...

My Parents’ Visit, part two

June 27th-28th, 2015 We spent the last days of my parents visit in the pool and making a trip to one of our old stomping grounds, the Kemah Boardwalk.  The time with them went too quickly, as it usually does, but we made the most of it and have the memories to hold on to.  Until the next time. The gator always cracks me up. As does the boy on top of it. I don’t think Adam will be able to have a quiet relaxing swim with these 3 boys all over him. And he wouldn’t have it any other way. Ah, the minion goggles.  They were a hit with the kids, and the adults. Good ole’...

Father’s Day, 2015

June 21st, 2015 This year was even more special because we were able to celebrate both Adam and my Dad on Father’s Day.  My parents came in to town the day before, making this the first Father’s Day in a long time where I was actually with my dad.  We had a good day with great food, swimming, gifts, and our tradition of a Father’s Day game! 2 dads and 3 young men After some lunch and a little bit of swimming, we played our annual Father’s Day game. This year’s game: The Newlywed Game. I had to take advantage of our additional players! The newlywed game...
