Dogs and Dodge Ball

January 2nd, 2015 Caleb welcomes the opportunity to hold Aunt April and Uncle Phil’s sweet dogs, Bo and Iggy.  He breaks out pretty badly with other dogs, but seems to handle these 2 better.  So it doesn’t take long for him to start asking to hold them when we are together. We spent a few hours at Sports Fusion on Friday.  The kids played a few rounds of laser tag, mini-golf and lots of dodge ball.  I think the funniest part was seeing Adam and his brother Luke being kids themselves.  🙂 Listening to all of the rules before dodge ball.  They look bored, don’t...

Some Bowling & Football

November 28th, 2014 For the past several years we have either traveled for or hosted Thanksgiving.  As Thanksgiving approached this year, we realized how long it had been since we had the holiday break without anything on our schedule.  While we missed seeing family and friends, it was kind of nice to have some low key days at home together. Adam had a great idea to help us focus on some quality time together as a family and not allow the time together to be wasted.  He had each of the boys make a list of 3 things they would like to do during our Thanksgiving break.  This was brilliant! ...

We will start with Caleb.  You could say that a fire was lit...

Catching Up

Late February, March, and Early April 2014 It seems like we have been running around in circles lately, never able to catch our breath.  Between homeschool, baseball schedules, orthodontist appointments, and Adam’s therapy appointments we rarely have a spare minute.  Instead of writing out several blog posts from the past few months, I am going to highlight things here. In a nutshell, life has been crazy for us.  Baseball has us busy 5 nights a week and some Saturday mornings.  The boys LOVE it, but it is definitely stressful.  Here are a few things we have been up to in the past...

The Return of Baseball

Week #11 of 52- March 18th Baseball Season 2013 is about to begin.  This year, we will have 3 players as Caleb joins his older brothers in the sport.  Tonight we had baseball evaluations and the boys couldn’t have been happier to be back on the fields.  It has been a long time. They did great with evaluations… Sumner impressed the coaches with his catching skills and Jonah wowed the coaches with his base running.  Caleb did great with his first evaluations.  He will be in T-Ball this year.  We can’t...
