Superior Plus at Gold Cup

February 28th, 2016 The boys participated in the Gold Cup Piano Festival this weekend.  This was Sumner and Jonah’s 3rd Festival and Caleb’s 2nd.  Caleb received a superior rating, playing “The Dragon Hunt”.  Sumner and Jonah earned Superior Plus ratings!  We could not be more proud as Superior and Superior Plus are the top 2 levels awarded.  Sumner and Jonah were asked to come back and play in a recital reserved for the students who earned the Plus ratings. May 2, 2015 The boys had their Spring Recital this afternoon.  They have grown so much in their piano playing over the past year.  Their teacher is pretty strict and very challenging.  So much so, that I questioned if they would mesh with her well or just get burned out.  They have not struggled one bit, though, and have risen to the challenge. A Week at a Glance

Day 267 of 365- September 23rd Adam had a rough day today.  By the time we got home from church, he was sick.  Horribly sick.  Turns out he had food poisoning and it knocked him out for a couple days.  So the boys and I had a laid back Sunday afternoon as we tried to fill our afternoon with quiet activities.  We ended up in the game room where I was treated to a mini piano recital.  Sumner & Jonah have been taking lessons with their new teacher for a couple months now and really doing well.  What a treat it is to see them enjoy music, something near and dear to Adam and I!
